Portland Cello Project covering Kanye West’s “All of the Lights”

In lieu of a traditional fourth-of-july firework post, I wanted to take a quick second to give a nod to a little classic Americana. First, I have recently fallen in love with the basics found in the Land’s End Canvas shop. Both traditional and slightly nautical, the typical American man could work any of these great pieces into their wardrobe. I excitedly added the chambray blazer and a pair of white demin to my summer closet.
Secondly, while perusing the Canvas site I stumbled upon a dapper musician named Jd McPherson. Not only well dressed, this Oklahoma native has some serious musical talent. Recoded on vintage microphones and tape decks, his melodies will transport you to a time when things where simpler and sweeter. Give him a listen while browsing the duds and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
